Semicircular shower enclosure: features
The semicircular shower cabin is positioned in a corner and is characterized by curved glass, the choice par excellence of those who do not like edges. It is also called a circular or round shower enclosure and can be mounted with a swing or sliding opening on a shower tray or flush with the floor. It is less spacious than an equivalent square shower enclosure. The most commonly used sizes are 80×80 cm or 90×90 cm. There is also an asymmetrical semicircular shower enclosure (with dimensions 70×90, 60×120, 70×140, 80×100 and 80×120 cm), interesting for narrow and long bathrooms because it allows you to stretch on one side so as to keep the same size in depth, but increasing space.

Since the swing opening, with a door or two, uses almost all the useful entrance space ensures excellent accessibility, especially appreciated by people with disabilities or who live in a condition of reduced mobility, as happens to many elderly people. In these cases it is preferable that the shower cabin is flush with the floor. The large opening facilitates cleaning inside the shower enclosure and the door itself. The open doors can drain on the floor.

Sliding doors solve both water problems on the floor because they do not come out of their tracks and that of any sanitary and furniture nearby because they do not require outdoor opening space to the shower enclosure.
